Be ready for what’s next.
Executive coaching for leaders preparing for greater scope.
You’ve built a strong track record. You’re trusted with important work. And you’re ready for more.
But strong performance in your current role doesn’t automatically translate into readiness for the next one. As scope grows, the expectations change. Strategic judgment matters more. Your ability to influence across the organization matters more. You’re increasingly judged by what happens through other people, not simply by what you can accomplish yourself. And the strengths that got you here may need to evolve as well.
If you’re serious about what comes next, the question isn’t simply whether you can do a bigger job. It’s whether the evidence of your leadership gives others confidence that you’re ready for one.
Promotion readiness is bigger than performance. Organizations make consequential decisions about leaders all the time: who is ready for greater responsibility, who has the potential to take on more, who needs additional experience, and who they are willing to bet on when an important role opens. Those judgments are rarely based on a single thing.
About Laura
For more than twenty years, I’ve worked with senior leaders and organizations on leadership, performance, culture, and organizational effectiveness. Most recently, I served as Vice President of Organization and People Development for a 26,000-person healthcare system.
Across my career, time-to-I’ve coached and developed leaders and led enterprise-wide leadership calibration and succession planning from manager through senior executive levels—helping organizations evaluate performance and potential, identify successors, assess time-to-readiness for key roles, and determine the development and experience leaders needed to prepare for what was next.
Today, I bring that experience to executives ready for their next move.
Client Perspective
Ready for what’s next?
The best time to prepare for your next move is before the opportunity is on the table. When your name comes up in a succession conversation or the right role opens, you want the people making the decision to already have confidence in your readiness.
Coaching gives you the space to look deliberately at where you’re already demonstrating readiness, where questions may remain, and what would most strengthen your readiness for greater responsibility.
If you’re thinking seriously about what’s next, let’s talk.
